Full Service Boarding

At Little Reata Stables, we believe every horse deserves exceptional care and a peaceful place to call home. Each horse in our barn family enjoys three nutritious feedings a day (up to four flakes included), fresh water, and daily stall cleaning with soft shavings. They stretch their legs with two hours of daily turnout and have access to our beautiful facilities — including a lighted indoor arena with brand new footing, an outdoor arena, and a 50-foot round pen. Every stall is equipped with fans misters and a fly abatement system to keep the summer months enjoyable and comfortable. Just across the street, miles of irrigation ditch trails offer a perfect escape for a relaxing ride. Our property is fully enclosed with an electric gate and caring staff who live on-site that check the horses at least five times a day, you can rest easy knowing your horse is in good hands.

Services

We offer full-service boarding so you can enjoy time with your horse.

Daily Feeding

We feed three times per day. High quality alfalfa, grass and teff. Up to four flakes of hay per day is included. Grain feeding is provided for free at lunch or dinner as long as the owner does the mixing and everything is kept in a critter-free container.

Turn-Out

Daily turn outs are provided. Turn outs are approximately two hours per day, with a minimum of five days a week- usually seven. They may be adjusted for schedules, high heat, strong winds and rain.

Cleaning and Riding

Regular daily cleaning and fresh shavings are included.

Two fully enclosed arenas- one indoor, fully lighted, laser leveled riding arena and one fully fenced outdoor arena. Each arena has received new footing within the last 18 months and they are dragged regularly. Both arenas have sprinkler systems. Riding is also available on the back of the property, our neighbor's property and there are miles of riding trails along the irrigation ditch.

Love, Carrots and Music

We regularly check on all our horses, and give them the occasional treat. Each barn has relaxing music at night to help keep the horses calm. Every stall/paddock has fans and misters, making summer temperatures a little more comfortable! Each barn also has a fly abetment system that keeps those pesky fly numbers as low as possible. We want your horse to feel special and at home.
